We were a great candidate for a great interest rate, because of our great credit and wonderful long term jobs.  We had used another lender, and for over 40 days we were told our loan was locked in and not to worry. When the 40th day came we got really worried.  We were talking to some friends that suggested we contact Steve at Great American Funding for a straight answer.  We knew that rates were going up as the market was not stable at this time.  Steve talked to us and at first told us to continue with the existing lender as we were purchasing our 1st home.  Well, another week went by only to find out that the lender was giving us the run around.  We called Steve to get started.  He came in to the office on Saturday and we completed everything he requested.  Great American got us a quick Approval thru Fannie Mae and then really locked our loan in just in time to close on our 1st home.  We can not thank you enough!
